Last meeting, ma'am gave us an activity. It is writing the correct APA citation of the given book or any reading material. She gave us a photocopy of the new version of APA citations. The activity was done by 4 groups and each of the group have a one representative to each round. I'am in the first group, and i was the third representative to look up the informations needed in the said activity. Unfortunately, I didn't get the information because of lacking of time. In over all, our group got 18 points over 40. It was hard for us to identify the correct citation and the correct information to get from the books ti'l we end our class.

Reaction Paper

The mother of Jason Ivler, Marlene Aguilar, has been maneuvering the scenarios to cover up the crime that her son did. She think that she can twist the justice, she lied to the people when she was in interviewed in the media that she doesn't know where was her son. She even cry to beg her son to surrender to the justice. After a month, Jason Ivler was noted that he is staying in their house together with her family. Then the NBI go and look up of Jason. First, the NBI didn't saw Jason, after 1 and a half hours Jason was arrested. Marlene Aguilar was shock because Jason was arrested and got 50-50 life. And now, Marlene pointed the Body Guard of Jason that he was the one who killed the son of Ebarle Sr. Shes trying to twist everything happen. But the Justice prevail.

Marlene think that she can handle the situation like a novel.

Last Tuesday, ma'am tested our vocabulary ability or ma'am called it the sensory word bin. Lots of words was the first I time ever I encountered of that test. I have no idea those words meaning. Maybe from that test, I should read a lot so that next time I encounter those kinds of words I can easily understand. That was quiet fun learning new words. Then ma'am said to us that next meeting we will have our prelim examination, ma'am gave us the topics what we will be studying about and after ma'am asked us to our topic on our term paper. Each one of us prepared already for our topics but there still lacking on it, so suggested to change their topics, some were already studied and no need to make it a term paper topic. Finally, after all were asked and its already time, ma'am ended the class.

Thursday. The prelim examination day, ma’am sends us a proctor for the exam because she can't come for her busy schedule on that day. The exam was not easy or hard, but we lack time answering it, because when the proctor came he asked us a certain amount of money for the photocopy of our exam and it consumes time. Therefore, many of us didn't finish the exam. :(

Our Ancestral House

As i remember those broken wall, those shaky stair, those rusty roof, the muddy floor and most of all the sound of trucks and cars passing the highway that i could not sleep every night, the loud horn of the cars that makes my ears hurt. I could still remember eating a rotten 'madang' fruit beside the house which really made my father get angry with me. I remember the water we drink from the hollow well. But theres one thing i really like to this place of ours, the peacefulness and very friendly people around you. :D
